Where Modern Medicine Meets Ancient Wisdom
Most modern medicine takes a reductionist approach, looking at each body part as a separate entity rather than part of a whole. Modern medicine practices focus on treating a symptom rather than prevention and typically account for only the physical aspects of health, often creating more symptoms from the treatment.
Ayurveda, on the other hand, takes a mind-body-spirit approach to wellness. Its focus is largely on disease prevention and treats the human being as a whole person, ensuring care for the full dynamic nature of being human.
Through Total Well-Being Coaching, I’ll support you from the perspective of “whole-person medicine,”-which includes elements of modern medicine and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, and Motivational Interviewing. I will help you develop a customized and integrated plan to achieve full body-mind and spiritual wellness—my toolkit is vast and includes the practices of whole food plant-based nutrition, movement, meditation, Ayurveda, Pranayama, restful sleep, emotional self-regulation, aspects of minimalism, gratitude, and various others.
