Hi, I’m Kariné, and I’ll be your guide.
I am a Chopra-certified Meditation and Ayurveda Educator and Chopra Total Well-Being Coach. The Ayurvedic is the space I established to help us all find our way back to a state of vibrancy, joy, and health.
I say “us” because I went through a massive, life-changing back surgery in 2021 and found the immense value of having gotten this surgery under the expertise of Western physicians with Western medicine and then the problems that arose with that same Western medicine in trying to heal from that same surgery and avoid addictive pain medication.
Since then, I have been focused on finding alternative healing modalities for myself. As a result, I’ve studied and absorbed the entire Chopra catalog of certifications to understand and share the knowledge of self-care, our body’s inner intelligence geared for healing, and how to best use this knowledge.
No one ever taught me self-care.
I gather no one taught you either.
Have a seat.
My mission is aligned with Chopra’s
“Self-Care, simplified.”
Services include:
Meditation Instruction + Practice
Ayurveda Instruction + Practice
Pranayama Instruction + Practice
Yoga Instruction + Practice
Total Well-Being Coaching + Support
Career Coaching + Support
The Ayurvedic provides bespoke classes and education for “whole-person care,” providing instruction and care for our bodies, minds, and souls. Classes are provided in 1:1 or group settings. They can all be provided virtually as well.
I help guide human beings through instruction on meditating, caring for our bodies, practicing daily wellness, and identifying self-care routines that work for you and your lifestyle. As part of Chopra Total Well-Being coaching, I help clients work through unresolved emotional traumas and learn to use existing skills and experiences to create a desired life.
I have been working with veterans, law enforcement, and first responders for over 20 years, succeeding at helping my clients learn to adapt to an ever-changing world. Having also worked in counter-terrorism in a forward-deployed capacity and law enforcement. A few things to know about me:
I am well-versed in putting language to trauma, having taught classes globally on every continent except Antarctica.
I’ve taught (for several years) a U.S. Department of Labor, a congressionally mandated class, both CONUS and OCONUS, which affects the well-being, success, and social integration of thousands of service members.
Despite facing massive obstacles and traumas, I’ve helped thousands of service members get from point A to point B. Want to see what some have said about me? Here you go.
I’ve provided a safe and honest environment for everyone to feel welcome and relaxed, getting to the heart of the matter quickly and efficiently.
I continue my work with veterans and LEOs through Throat-Punch Resumes.
What I do not provide:
I do not provide medical assistance, advice, or care (but I do work with a licensed physician who does and can refer you).
I do not provide behavioral or mental health therapy (but I work with a trauma therapist and can refer you).
I do not provide massage (but I work with a masseuse and can refer you).
Validation for masochistic or unrealistic goals or affirmations.
Everything I do, teach, and expect my clients to practice is 100% backed by peer-reviewed medical studies and supported by science and Western medicine. I also walk my own talk and shun perfectionism. I often provide scientific studies as part of your session outcomes. Your questions are always welcome; if I cannot answer, I can refer you to someone who will.
